Alabare Christian Care and Support, Gloucestershire Home for Veterans

Registered Charity No.1006504

Running a marathon without trainers might make 7th August that little bit harder. Surviving without a home makes everything a lot harder. All support for the Gloucestershire Homes for Veterans makes a direct difference to those ex-servicemen in need. I will be running in Vibram Five Fingers, pictured, which have soles 5mm thick. Sane folk recommend the transition to long-distance "barefoot" running is made over an 18 month period; I am attempting it after 10 weeks.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thank you very much for any help you are able to give.

An outstanding effort for a superb charity. You'll remember my feelings toward your footwear back in January 2005. These, however, are NOT 'nice trainers'.
